Birmingham University Global Masters Scholarship In UK 2025

The University of Birmingham is offering a Global Masters Scholarship for international students starting their master’s degree. The scholarship is designed to provide financial support for international students who demonstrate academic excellence and who wish to study for a full-time master’s degree at the University.

Approximately 40 scholarships will be awarded a value of up to GBP 10,000. This award will be deducted from the total tuition fees owed by each successful scholar. The Global Masters Scholarship is an award of £10,000 to provide support for you to study at the University of Birmingham.

The Global Masters Scholarship provides international students with the opportunity to study at a world-class institution and gain a master’s degree that will enhance their future careers. The scholarship is highly competitive and is awarded to only a small number of students each year, based on academic merit and the strength of their application.

Financial Benefits

Selected applicants for Global Master Scholarships at Birmingham University will be entitled to the following benefits.

Up to £10,000, GBP Fundings will be awarded. This award will be deducted from the total tuition fees owed by each successful scholar. You will gain an International Degree from the United Kingdom.

You will get an opportunity to do a part-time job. After Completion of your Degree, you will get PSW for 2 years.

 

Eligibility Criteria

All taught master’s programs are eligible for this scholarship, except programs in the Birmingham Business School, for which there are separate MSc and MBA scholarships on offer.

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements. Candidates must:

International students (non-UK/EU) who are classified as overseas for fee purposes. Applicants must have been offered a place in a full-time master’s program at the University of Birmingham.

Applicants must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, a first-class Honours degree or equivalent in their undergraduate program. The scholarship is available for master’s programs in any subject offered at the University of Birmingham.

Have received, and accepted, an offer of admission for a taught master’s degree at the University of Birmingham UK Campus to study in the 2024/25 academic year. Be classed as ‘domiciled’ in one of the eligible countries.

Be academically exceptional and able to provide evidence for this in the scholarship application statement. Candidates should have, or be expecting to achieve, a first-class overall grade (at least 70% in the UK system) in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
